03 Jul Award Finalist – Dream City and Splendour
We are proud to announce that two of Lynn Jaanz’s paintings have been selected as finalists in the Colors of Humanity 2022 Black & White Art Show.
- ‘Dream City‘
Dream city is the exploration of the hidden dreams in the hearts of Man. So often dreams are stolen by the blackness of the city and hidden away in the dark. It is about Man’s eventual triumph as the path is revealed and conquered.
The heart yearns for a place of peace where all our dreams are fulfilled. Splendour is a place where we feel, a realm where we feel this absolute joy and peace.
Sometimes a monochrome pallet can say more than a full spectrum of color, and creates a striking contrast in the art. The ‘Black & White Art Show’ is a celebration of art that is composed of black, white, and shades in between.
The ‘Black & White Art Show’ runs from July 1 to July 31 2022, and can be viewed online here. It includes work by artists from around the world, including USA, Australia, Canada and China. A variety of styles and mediums are included in the show, such as acrylic, charcoal, colored pencil, cut paper, digital, mixed media, pastel, pen, pencil/graphite, photography, printmaking, and scratchboard.
Lynn’s paintings are amongst artwork held in high regard, and I encourage you to take a look at the stunning creations that have been included in the exhibition. So much talent, with so little colour.
